Elizabeth Ferris 1958

British diver wins Silver Medal at Perth and stays to be an actress - London-born Elizabeth Ferris, 23, had her first dive when she was three years old. At 12 she started diving and at 16 took part in her first international competition. Since then she has won a bronze medal at the Cardiff Games in 1958, a bronze medal at the Rome Olympics, two gold medals at the World Student Games in Sofia, and a silver medal in last years Perth Games.
