As a Sporting Club dealing with children we take all our responsibilities seriously. Here are links to some of the policies that require adherence.

 

Working With Children Declaration

This form applies to

(1) contractors and self employed persons (where contact is not regular/extended or presence merely fleeting/transient);

(2) volunteers providing intimate personal care services to children with disabilities (where personal care is not core duty or does not involve direct intimate contact with children);

3) volunteers providing mentoring to disadvantaged children (where mentoring does not involve developing family-like relations or does not involve regular and ongoing meetings with children

(4) other (such as unpaid band/music tutors, unpaid choreographers or unpaid sports coaches etc

Junior Sports Policy

“The purpose of this junior sport policy for Swimming Australia is to assist in the provision of quality sport experiences for young people. It will encourage the provision of safe, enjoyable and accountable environments for everyone involved in junior swimming.”

Anti-Doping List

The official text of the Prohibited List shall be maintained by WADA and shall be published in English and French. In the event of any conflict between the English and French versions, the English version shall prevail.

Behavioural Guidelines

In Australia we are proud of our sporting ability and our reputation as a nation of good sports. Our society  xpects high standards of behaviour from all people involved in sport, and it is vital the integrity of sport is maintained. At every level of sport, the principles of fairness, respect, responsibility and safety should be maintained.
